Just imagine for a moment that we’re sitting across from each other.
I ask you to close your eyes.
To bring your attention into your body… and take a deep breath.
And I begin speaking… not to you, but to your body (& your inner child).
Hello body and Divine Child,
I want to talk to you for a second.
I know that sometimes you feel like you’re on the back burner and not number 1 on the list.
But I want you to know that you didn’t do anything wrong.
You never did.
You’ve been here the whole time, haven’t you?
Holding her.
Carrying her.
Getting her through things she didn’t even realize were still sitting inside you.
Even when she ignored you…
Even when she pushed past your need for rest…
Even when she kept moving so she wouldn’t have to feel you…
You stayed.
You kept showing up for her.
And I just want to say…
I see you.
I see the tension you’ve been holding.
I see the tightness, the heaviness… the places that never really got a chance to relax.
I see how much you’ve been carrying without anywhere for it to go.
And you deserve more than that.
You deserve to be listened to.
You deserve to be felt.
You deserve to be taken care of… not just pushed through.
And I want you to know…this is starting to change.
She’s finding her way back to you.
Even now.
Even here.
Reading this.
She’s showing up for herself in small ways.
Trying… even when it’s not perfect.
She’s learning how to listen.
How to stay.
How to not leave you the moment something feels uncomfortable.
She’s learning how to make you feel safe again.
Safe enough to soften.
Safe enough to rest.
And one day… maybe sooner than you think…you’re not going to feel like something she avoids.
You’re going to feel like home.
You’re going to be something she trusts.
Something she listens to.
Something she takes care of… deeply.
You’re going to be on the same side.
And she’s going to take really good care of you.
I’m going to make sure of it.
You don’t have to hold everything forever.
You can soften now.
Even just a little.
Okay…
you can slowly come back.
Open your eyes.
Take a breath.
And just notice what you feel in your body right now.
No need to change it.
Just notice.
Maybe there’s a softening.
Maybe there’s tightness.
Emotion.
or maybe… nothing at all.
All of that is okay.
Now I want to speak to you, the woman.

Not one where you push through it, ignore it or try to fix it.
