The Day I Wanted to Disappear
What an embarrassing moment taught me...
You have a message your soul is nudging you to share.
But the fear of people judging you is real.
I’ve been there too.
I used to have people comment on my posts telling me I misspelled something.
One time I was talking about being a serial dater, and I spelled serial like the box of cereal.
Somebody commented on it.
Then other people started commenting under their comment saying they noticed it too.
I was mortified.
Part of me wanted to be like, “Well, I might as well just stop writing.”
And honestly, I still misspell things sometimes.
I flip words around.
My grammar isn’t perfect.
But I finally got to a place where I thought:
The people who are meant for me will get me.
They’ll know my heart.
And they’re not going to decide whether I can help them based on a spelling mistake.
At some point, I had to decide what mattered more.
Protecting myself from judgment.
Or helping the women I’m here to help.
For me, the answer became clear.
I’ve watched women heal, trust themselves, find love, get married, sign clients, start podcasts, and completely change the direction of their lives.
That’s worth a few negative comments.
That’s worth somebody correcting my spelling.
If fear of judgment is keeping you from sharing your message, I can help.
