I was ready to explode after I read his email.
It made me feel small.
I instantly had a vision of me punching a hole in the wall.
If I were in a cartoon, smoke would have been coming out of my ears.
I was able to calm the rage down just enough to ask for clarification.
Turns out it was a typo.
Just a big misunderstanding.
A few months ago, the possibility of a typo would’ve crossed my mind.
But my bitterness blinded me.
It made me think the worst.
This is what happens when we hold heavy emotions in our bodies.
We get irritated easily
We fly off the handle
Assume the worst
And can’t chill out
This is how…
Relationships fall apart
Friendships fail
You become the angry one at work
You become the negative one
The complainer
I’m committed to shifting out of this state.
Wanna join me?
I’m hosting a 21-day journey called
“Yoga for Bitter People.”
This is for you if you’re just not feeling like yourself…whether it’s bitterness, anger, resentment, irritability, or you just want to feel a deeper sense of peace.
All of it is welcome.
It’s happening inside “The Self-Worship School” membership.
Right now, the membership is free, and I’d love to have you join and start this journey with me.
I’m looking for 20 women who want to shift out of bitterness or feeling blah and reclaim their joy and peace.
We start October 15th.
I’ll be sharing more details soon.
Here’s the link to join.
Just hit reply if you have any questions.
Talk soon,
Essence
